Education & Youth Development

Become a Big Sibling

Big Brothers Big Sisters
University Community Service Center

Become a mentor to a child waiting to meet you! Engage with youth in community-based or site-based mentoring. In community-based Mentoring, each volunteer (Big) is matched with one child (Little) between the ages of 7 and 14. On your schedule, you get to spend quality time with your Little sharing local culture, exploring new educational opportunities, developing new skills and hobbies. You can also participate in the MetroSquash Neighborhood Program, a site-based program that offers one-to-one mentoring every other Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
