The Special Projects Consultancy works to support Chicago-area nonprofits through a variety of short-term, technical projects across four categories, including: communications and marketing; fund development; data and technology; and program design and communications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Accelerator staff and organizational leadership to develop and document project scope, requirements, and timelines based on organizational needs and Accelerator standards
- Execute projects under direction of Accelerator staff.
- Track project progress against milestones and update organizational leadership on project challenges
- Conduct research and research reviews to inform project design and deliverables
Skills and Requirements
- Strong project management skills, including prioritization, multitasking, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong analytic thinking, creative problem-solving, research, and organization skills
- Strong writing skills preferred
- Interest and previous experience in working with community-based nonprofits
Time Commitments
- Bi-weekly or weekly team meetings depending on project
- Regular meetings with client organizations
- Regular professional development opportunities
Federal Work Study strongly preferred.
