The Special Projects Consultancy works to support Chicago-area nonprofits through a variety of short-term, technical projects across four categories, including:  communications and marketing; fund development; data and technology; and program design and communications.   

Responsibilities   

•  Collaborate with Accelerator staff and organizational leadership to develop and document project scope, requirements, and timelines based on organizational needs and Accelerator standards
•  Execute projects under direction of Accelerator staff.
• Track project progress against milestones and update organizational leadership on project challenges
• Conduct research and research reviews to inform project design and deliverables

Skills and Requirements

• Strong project management skills, including prioritization, multitasking, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
•  Strong analytic thinking, creative problem-solving, research, and organization skills 
• Strong writing skills preferred
• Interest and previous experience in working with community-based nonprofits 

Time Commitments

• Bi-weekly or weekly team meetings depending on project
• Regular meetings with client organizations
• Regular professional development opportunities

Federal Work Study strongly preferred.
