The Office of Special Programs-College Prep's after-school program for high school students seeks a Program Assistant to:
- Support the development and implementation of career research and exploration programming;
- Maintain accurate records of student participation in career focused programming;
- Provide up-to-date information, resources and research data to add to website;
- Work collaboratively with community agencies and the business community to develop programs that support student internships and job shadowing;
- Assist with the tracking of student involvement in AVID, AP, CTE, Internships, Naviance and confirm college acceptance and enrollment;
- Collect and analyze relevant student achievement and program data to inform improvement efforts, including post-graduate academic course placement data
- Assist with the development and/or implementation of career readiness curriculum;
- Support the process for selecting/adopting career readiness materials and resources.
This is a part-time, non-exempt position, requiring roughly 10 to 15 hours per week, on site from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with some scheduling flexibility.
