Program Assistant: Tutor Coordinator

Office of Special Programs - College Prep

The Office of Special Programs-College Prep's after-school program for high school students seeks outgoing, highly organized individual with demonstrated attention to detail, ability to manage teams, prioritize and multi-task, establish and adhere to deadlines, think critically and problem solve. Must have excellent verbal and written skills.

This position serves in a cross-functional capacity, assisting in the implementation of a structured tutoring experience that provides academic support to 9 – 12 grade students by performing tasks that include but are not limited to:

  • Managing student and tutor check-in
  • Matching students to the appropriate subject matter tutors
  • Managing tutoring data tracking logs and compiling data
  • Monitoring student portal data
  • Conducting tutor and volunteer orientations/on-boarding session
  • Assisting in completing tutor year-end evaluations

Scheduled hours:  Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Minimum time commitment: 15 to 20 hours per week.
