Project Assistant: Social Media

Office of Special Programs - College Prep

The Office of Special Programs - College Prep after-school program for 9th - 12th grade students seeks a creative and talented individual with interest and experience in digital, social media platforms. Strong writing skills required. Proven competency in graphic-design tools and/or websites that can be used for both web and print media design and graphics.
General duties relate to promoting program services and acivities by performing tasks including but not limited to the following:
Post and maintain social media accounts: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. Update UChicago Website.
Create school based newsletters; informational flyers, signage; and other communication materials as needed. Catalog existing and new photos from events and activities and upload to UChicago Box and/or other file sharing tool. Other duties as assigned.

Flexible hours:  Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 6:00pm; Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm; Minimum commitment 10-15 hours weekly.  All hires are required to complete a 90 minute orientation and on-boarding process.
