Project Assistant: Events and Activities

Office of Special Programs - College Prep

The Upward Bound after-school program for high school students seeks an outgoing, highly organized individual with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, adhere to deadlines, critical thinking and problem solving skills. This position assist with the identification and planning of special events and activities that include but are not limited to college tours and cultural enrichment.

  • Develop and update monthly department/program calendars
  • Identify and book locations/venues/activities
  • Create schedules and "Run of Event" templates
  • Develop periodic status and progress reports as needed
  • Collect and compile activity registrations

Flexible hours:  Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 6:00pm; Saturday 9:00am - 1:00pm

All hires are required to complete a 90 minute orientation and on-boarding process.
